Four beheaded bodies were found hanging on a highway bridge leading to the city. Authorities say the head of the body was found near a nearby plastic bag.

“The military and police forces are working together to rebuild the complete peace in Sinaloa state,” Sinaloa government spokesman Feliciano Castro said in a statement Monday.

The gunman with connections to Sinaloa Cartel was also involved in the October 18, 2024 killing US Navy veteran Nicholas Quets in Sonora, Mexico.

The Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers.
