- Expected to be launched in January 2026 and may increase power
- RAM is pushing more broadly into part of the V-8
powerful RAM TRX Officially return. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa confirmed the comeback on a company’s second-quarter financial call, saying the supercharged V-8 trucks are a strong contributor to quantity and profit margins. While Filosa does not lock in production dates, insiders quoted by Mopar Insers claim The new TRX may start to roll off as early as January 2026.
The previous TRX was originally offered by the 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8, setting a high standard for off-road muscle trucks. With RAM CEO Tim Kuniskis now also leading Stellantis’ SRT Performance division, expectations for the next-generation TRX are high that can further boost horsepower stakes. While the design and drivetrain details are still in the wrapper, the next TRX may be true to its formula: supercharged V-8 power, solid styling and extreme off-road capabilities. The model’s rewards also mark a broader strategic shift in RAM that has confirmed that the Hemi V-8 will rejoin the 1500 roster in 2026 and tease 25 new product announcements in 18 months.
Under the current U.S. government, RAM doubles the V-8’s performance with easy fuel economy standards, and the TRX is just the beginning.
