How often do you use pharmacy cosmetics among celebrities and/or bride clients?
I use more drug stores than people think. Although there are a lot of high-end staples in my kit, I swear there are some drugstore products, especially skin tone and lips. It really depends on which products can perform best under lights, cameras, and all-day clothing. Regardless of the price, if I have tried something, I will use it.
What would you say to those who think pharmacy cosmetic products and luxury products are underperforming, especially on big days like a person’s wedding?
I’ll tell them that price doesn’t always equal performance. There are some pharmacies that easily outperform some luxury products. For big days like weddings, it’s more about how the product is worn on the skin and photos than on the brand or price tag on the bottle. If it’s in my kit, it’s because I’ve tested it thoroughly and worked, not just because it’s expensive.
Any tips or tricks to find good pharmacy cosmetics? There are many choices!
My biggest tips are samples and studies. Check out MUAS’s comments on Tiktok or Instagram for professional insights, not just influencers. Also, be aware of the best method for your skin type. It is important to always test wear at home to avoid surprises before relying on products for large events. Don’t sleep on the liar, either! Some pharmacy brands will develop their products like high-end products. Many pharmacies are of high quality. You just need to know where to look.
