With six seasons, two movies and third on the road, Downton Abbey be one of the most successful dramas during all time – and have good justification. The story of crawbeys, a wealthy family running a land in the countryside in English, full of high countryside – east of drama, romance and history. It began in 1912, and the story continued until 1926.
In the center of this PSS series is romance between Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery), the eldest daughter of the family, and the distance of Matthew Crawley, (And stevens), who can be the heir to the ground (which is not allowed to pass a woman) when the previous successor dies in the Titanic. The two younger sisters of Mary, Edith (Laura Carmichael) and Sybil (Jessica Brown Fishlay), also seeks marriages and dare to dream more of great as the rights for women start expanding.
Downton staff also experienced fair part of the romantic drama, especially between Valet G. Bates (Brendan Kongle) and the maid of Lady Anna (Joanne Froggatt). Perhaps the most memorable nature of all is Lady Violet, the snarky and Shart Dowering Countess, played later, well Maggie Smith. Downdon Got 69 Primetime Emmy Nominations During this run – the majority of any international series.
