Other smart shades to consider
We tested a few other smart shades and restructuring devices. Here are some who were narrowly missed on a place above.
Ryse courtesy
Ryse smartcurtain for $ 150: Another redesign device for your window covers, the RYSE SmartCurtain is very easily appropriate. It works well with green rail curtains and is rationally quiet around 36 decibels, but you need two if you have a pair of curtains, and it’s relatively expensive. Consider also that you need the Ryse Smartbridge ($ 50) Hub to plan, connect smart home devices for voice control, or even control multiple devices. Without the hub, you can only connect with Bluetooth to one curtain at a time. The two rechargeable 18,650 Li-PO batteries will be supposed to last up to eight months. There is no charger in the box, although you can seem to apply for one for free. Although it is a decent product, it is also more expensive, less versatile, and generally inferior to the switch curtain 3.
Aqara curtain driver E1 for $ 90: With separate models for a rod or traces of curtains, this is very similar to the Switch -Curtain 3 above, but not so well. It’s bigger, which leaves more room for a bigger battery, so you can wait up to a year of battery life. Unfortunately it is also louder (more than 50 decibels), more expensive, and requires AQara hub to unlock voice commands and smart domestic automation.
IKEA Drivans of $ 160: The Tedansen is very similar to the stopped Fyrtur motorized shade we used to recommend, except that it is a cell black blind, who is only white. It comes with all the accessories, a removable battery, and there are eight sizes. Connect to a Straight hub ($ 70) And you can use the IKEA home program to control, plan and group your blind. You get a pre-parked remote control, but annoyingly, you need to insert the inclusive signal repetition for wireless functions (this may depend on how far your devices are from your hub, because some people were successful without the repeater). They don’t look as beautiful or feel as durable as the Fyrtur, and I had some problems with unpleasant connectivity.
Don’t bother

Ryse Smartshade for $ 200: This is a restructuring gadget to convert any roller shade with a lighted chain into a smart shadow. It is easily appropriate, but you will need a roller shade with an uninterrupted chain because a plastic gap joining the two ends of a chain can cause problems (my chain separated), and it makes noise. The removable battery package is a smart idea, but if you want to remote control of the shade of your phone, you must be in a Bluetooth range. To get programming and voice controls, you need to buy the Ryse Smartbridge ($ 50)And I had problems with connectivity entering and out. After trying some of these restructuring projects for the blinds of the chain roller rollers (I also tested the AQara E1) and had problems both times, I can’t recommend them. This one is too expensive too.
