A 9-year-old Canadian girl whose father says she was previously the subject of Amber Alert after she was kidnapped In New York New York State Police confirmed Sunday.
The girl, Melina Frattolin, reportedly reportedly, was her father, Luciano Frattolin Regional Amber Alert and large-scale searches involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

Authorities later determined “the father’s inconsistency with the incident and the timeline he provided”, and the child was tragically discovered in Ticonderoga, about 35 miles away.

“At present, there are no signs of abduction and no threat to the public,” state police said in a statement.
It is not clear how Flatolin died.
