“Maybe the journeyman,” Pacheco said when asked if Steven Nelson was his toughest opponent. “I didn’t have any trouble in any round. Maybe in the last round, he caught a few punches there and I had to tighten up a little bit. Steven Nelson showed a great heart and a great chin. But other than that, no. Nothing else.
“I showed my skills and my game plan was much better. I felt like I never got tired in any round. I felt like I controlled the pace and controlled the fight. If the fight had been longer, I could have gone for more Lots of rounds,” Pacheco said.
