Archaeologists recently excavated an ancient workshop in Greece, revealing a series of unfinished projects and other curiosities.
The project was announced by the Greek Ministry of Culture in a Facebook post in May. Officials said in a statement from Greek to English that the excavations were carried out at the archaeological site of Floga Paros Island, Greece.
Although the workshop is not surprising – archaeologists have been studying the site since the mid-1980s, excavators have found many interesting findings in the latest excavation process.
Specifically, the investigation has led to the uncovering of “new building remains”, as well as various dietary containers and storage items.
“Some (building remains) are built on earlier structures, documenting the ongoing use of the website over time,” the statement said. “The latest remains are related to the stages from the late 5th century BC to the early 4th century.”

“The movable discovery aroused great interest, including semi-formal marble sculptures, mainly Aphrodite, clay heads of female figures as well as clay molds and stamps, while a large collection of pottery was collected,” the statement said.
