Mamet discusses how he was “kicked out of the left” about 25 years ago and what led to him discovering the right-leaning price. He noted that his past comments called himself a “brain-dead liberal” and in an article he wrote urged political civilization, causing many of his left-wing peers to lose their connection with him.
“I don’t know Republicans, so I don’t understand what conservatism is,” he said. “And then I was kicked out of the left and I started to study the meaning of constitutional conservatism, and I was very, very interested and very excited about it – I’m here now.”
Mamet pointed out that he is Democratic Party And its values explain how he thinks the party does not best represent American workers and becomes an “elite party.”
“I discovered conservative beliefs because I found everything I thought and believed that the Democrats were wrong,” he said.
During a turbulent period of American politics, Momet expressed optimism about the president’s future Donald TrumpElection victory in November 2024.
“As we saw in the election, the United States has once again corrected itself,” Momet said. “The red country is thriving.”
Mamet also talks about the media and entertainment’s focus on “social consciousness” when talking about his vast theatrical experience.
“Black people are also humans, and gay people are humans, but the problem is, everyone knows it,” he said. “So we don’t want to come to the theater or the movie to teach, right? Our wives do it – so to keep their place, there is the idea of proficiency in the media, so the awards and security or hallucinations… are awarded to the person who screams the most.”
