An anonymous woman told the media: “It’s an open secret.” Amid the disturbing allegations, there are claims that Leto raised sexual problems with a 16-year-old girl, walked out of the 17-year-old’s naked room and exposed herself and masturbating “on him”. A woman, a model, was 16 years old in 2008, telling Leto’s meeting at an animal rights event before visiting his studio, claiming he flirted with her and showed up. Another woman said she was also 16 when Leto approached her at a Los Angeles cafe and later called her at night with sexually suggestive conversations.
Last month, DJ Allie Teilz re-announced Facebook from her 2012 Instagram story, accusing Leto of reissuing Facebook identity at the age of 17, the allegations attracted renewed attention. She describes his behavior as “predatory, terrible and unacceptable.” After her post, Teilz shared over 50 responses from individuals reporting similar experiences, some of whom were only 14 to 16 years old at the time.
Jared Leto’s representative strongly denied all the allegations and asserted that the claims were “obvious errors” and that “never had any recruitment, complaints or misconduct.” They said Leto had quit smoking for more than 35 years. As of now, no criminal charges have been filed against Leto, and he has not publicly resolved the charges publicly.
