Violent outbreak Friday night on the streets in downtown Los Angeles in response to immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) raids. Vehicles set fire, mobs threw objects at police from the highway overpass and smashed windows at LAPD headquarters.
During live coverage on Sunday, both Rand and Caputo stressed that the violence was limited to a few agitators and did not reflect the entire protesters’ population.

Caputo said he would not call this situation a “riot” even if the president Donald Trump Use this term.
“I didn’t know I would describe it as a riot,” he said. “The vast majority of people are people who are participating in videos, people who are waving flags, people who are walking around, people who want to be part of their career, people who want to hear their own voices, and people who want to show the power of numbers and the power of power… (but) you have these people who are deliberately causing some problems.”
“It’s hard to describe the crowd as an agitator. I won’t even say that, or even get close to that,” Caputo continued. “(i) It seems that this doesn’t necessarily cover the vast majority of people here, but that everyone is trapped in hoopla.”

“It’s a few people ruining everything for everyone else,” Rand confirmed. “It’s probably the peaceful demonstrations are certainly no longer because these cars continue to burn and explode.”
As more and more explosions occur in the backstage, Caputo and his photographers attempt to move from the scene.
Then, Rand announced that if you don’t count on the car’s fire, things “look relatively peaceful now.”
“It’s hard to say that these already on fire cars seemed relatively calm as the three cars burned.”

Trump sent 2,000 National Guards to the area on Friday to resolve the violence that has sparked criticism from California Gov. Gavin Newsom and La Mayor Karen Bass.
Newsom says Trump went all out when deploying the National Guard to help with the anti-ice riot, claiming that “local law enforcement does not need help.”
