The crash comes when Boeing tries to rebuild the trust in a number of security crises, including two fatal accidents of his 737 Max model in 2018 and 2019, which led to the departure of his then managing director Dennis Muilenburg.
The mid-air blowout of a door plug in a 737 max-9 jet, which was operated by Alaska Airlines in January 2024, triggered a further elimination of the top management, since the quality of the production of Boeing was the quality of the Boeing production.

Tata had promised to modernize the airline, and in 2023 Air India agreed with a contract with Boeing and Airbus to buy 470 new aircraft, one of the largest orders in aviation history.
John Strickland, an aviation consultant, said Boeings 787 had a “good security record” and added that it was “too early to speculate about the probable cause of the accident.
Air India had “challenges for decades of state possession and poor management,” said Strickland.
However, he said that experienced management had been brought in since his sales time and that the airline had “started to move both operatively and commercially in the right direction”.
