Eric Dane has made his statement for the first time since revealing his ALS diagnosis.
In a sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer, Dane said he was constantly reminding him of his diagnosis every day.
“I wake up every day and I immediately remind me that this is happening,” Dane told Sawyer in a trailer for an upcoming interview to be released on Facebook.

Sawyer replied, “This is not a dream.”

Dane agrees, saying his reality is not a dream.
Although “Grey Anatomy” alum Life has changed since the diagnosis, and he tried to stay optimistic and said, “I don’t think it’s the end of my story. I don’t think it’s the end of mine.”
At the end of the editing, Sawyer asked Dane who his first call was, which caused the actor torn apart.
Dane announced his ALS diagnosis in April, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
“I was diagnosed with ALS. I’m happy to be with my lover’s family in the next chapter,” the 52-year-old actor told the actor. People Magazine.

According to the Mayo Clinic, ALS is a “neurological disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.”
It can cause muscle control and respiratory and dietary problems as well as Can cause dementia.

According to the ALS Society, patients usually have three years after being diagnosed with the disease, but some can survive for decades.
Others who fought against ALS include Stephen Hawking, Yankees player Lou Gehrig, who died in 1941, creator Stephen Hillenburg of “Spongebob Squarepant” and Jon Stone, creator of “Sesame Street”.

Dane married actress Rebecca Gayheart and shared two children, 15-year-old Billie and Georgia, 13.
