Commentator Johnny Nelson believes that unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk may block IBF champion Daniel Dubois in next month’s rematch held on July 19 at London’s Wembley Stadium. Nelson said Usk (23-0, 14 KOS) will reach Dubois’ chin (22-2, 21 KOS) and take him out “accumulation” Shoot to knock him down.

The last time they fought, Usyk stopped Dubois. So it makes sense that he will do it again in the rematch, because Daniel has a glass chin. As we saw in the battle with Usyk, Kevin Lerena and Joe Joyce, Dubois doesn’t need much of an opponent. The mandible is weak.
Dubois’s only chance in this battle is to get to Usyk as early as possible, because if it goes through five rounds, he will be tired and eliminated. Usyk is an excellent hole punch when fighting in lightweight matches. The strength he showed in that department was enough to defeat fighters that heavyweights like Dubois stood out.
Dubois’s power to useless Usyk’s skills
“Daniel is the strongest of the two, but Usyk has been with many more powerful people, but he is able to deny their strengths,” Nelson said. “Knowledge is power. Uske knows what Dubois means. Uske shows that he can think and change the direction of the battle. He proves in the (last) fight (2023 vs. Dubois).
Dubois’ ability to use his own power is a real problem. If he can’t put his shots on Usk, he will not be able to use his strength and scale. He will be a big chunk.

Usyk did not play the system by letting the referee know that Dubois hit his low blow. He was hit low. No forgery. If Dubois raises a punch, he might win the battle. Of course, if it attacked Oleksandr in the middle, he might accept and continue to fight.
