Sam Bennett named the most valuable player in the Stanley Cup playoffs NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced his name after defeating the Oilers in Game 6 to block another league title.
Although he didn’t score in Game 6, Bennett was the leading shooter for any player in this year’s playoffs, finding 15 net rebounds while adding seven assists to a total of 22 points.

Bennett finished the regular season with 51 points (25 goals, 26 assists) in 76 games, but he raised it a gap when his team needed the most in the playoffs.
