Caliperis an industrial design and manufacturing studio located in Madrid, with Alaska Alaska For the tenth issue of its version plan. This collaboration produces the AA67 speaker, a carefully designed sculpture bookshelf speaker by Alaska Alaska, specialized in production by Caliper. Part of this wider furniture collection, which includes speaker shelves, sofas, tables, benches and shelving units, the cohesive series that originally debuted in Capsule Plaza Milan Design Week In 2024.
The AA67 speaker is rooted in the spirit of reinterpreting meanings and reconnecting iconic forms in Alaska, drawing inspiration from Slovenian designer Saša Mächtig’s famous K67 Kiosk. The result is a bold and functional object, produced in a 25-piece order version. It comes in eight colors: white, pink, green, black, grape, blue, gray and orange.
This version marks the first public offering of calipers. Historically, Caliper has historically focused on the connection between professional clients and the world of design, so he created the program to support collaborators to bring technically complex or economically restrained concepts into life.
