Now, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford Super Fight will be staged at the 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on September 13. The event will be displayed live on Netflix.
Allegiant Stadium hosts Canelo-Crawford
It would be fun to see if the Allegiant Stadium is sold out. Although interested in fans’ battles, they are not much different from other recent battles Canelo. Crawford has been so active throughout his career that he has been very popular for the past five years.
He was chosen for the fight, not for fans’ needs, but because Turki Alalshikh liked him. So, there are some questions about whether fans would want to live the fight, as many of them are not Crawford fans. They are Canelo fans.
Once the battle will be held in Las Vegas, Canelo-Crawford is expected to be held at this venue. It’s a big enough venue to get many fans traveling from California, Arizona and Texas to arrange to see Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOS) defending his undisputed super middleweight title against Crawford (41-0, 31 KOS).
Turki Alalshikh’s Battle Vision
Turki Alalshikh revealed on X last week that he hopes “young, hungry warriors, they should have the opportunity to perform under the bright lights”. He thinks Canelo-Crawford is the “big battle” and he doesn’t think it needs a card full of huge battles.
He mentioned that he wanted these fighters as the bottom card:

Legacy Battle: Crawford’s Big Payday
What Crawford wants is a battle, not Canelo, because it is a huge payday for Nebraska people who feels it will cement his legacy, the number one great of all time. This also gives Crawford a chance to be the undisputed champion of two-thirds. He previously won undisputed titles in 140 and 147.
Initially, he was interested in trying to do this at the age of 154, but he gave up on the idea after his tough time against WBA junior high school champion Israel Madrimov. With Canelo, all the belts were already surrounded by him. He is old with endurance issues and Crawford has a better chance of defeating him than he had a chance against a young champion at 154.
