After debut Monkler In the fall, Monkler Shanghai’s “City of Genius” partnership, the ever-growing creative swordsman made his collaborations with Monkler favorites uncover the curtains. With Glover’s design process, he fits Moncler’s most famous Silhouettes for use in Southern California summers, inserting his own Gilga Farm Creative College Collectivive’s orange Ojai Energy image into each piece.
At first glance, the vibrant shadows stand out, while bright oranges line up on cream, blue and pink, but actually exist at the heart of collaboration.
Gilga Farm’s motto is “The world revolves around your utility. Use it to get into your reality”, and Glover’s Moncler Genius speech prioritizes practicality over all other aspects.
“Function is key – it’s something that connects the world of Gilgar and Monkler, we both create for the usefulness of the real world,” Glover explained. “The guiding principles of the series, returning all the way to Monkler’s earliest designs to establish a new scope.
Glover continued: “The sleeping bag was one of the first products Moncler made, and it inspired our sleeping bag jackets, but also led to a range of summer suits based on real value.” Glover continued that the heart of the collection was: a hero duvet jacket turned into a sleeping bag.
Other jacket profiles include a suede jacket with a Gilga Farm patch covering the chest and a lightweight nylon ripstop trench coat. When it comes to footwear, the duo collaborated on the Moncler Trailgrip Vela sandals and was sturdy with the Vibram Sole.
Moncler’s mascot Monduck was even reinterpreted as a suitable farmer for the segment.
