20th Century Studio debuts Springsteen: Take me from nowhere. Biography movie stars Jeremy Allen White As Bruce Springstin.

Directed by Scott Cooper, the film is based on Warren Zanes’s book of the same name and follows the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska. He has been described as “a young musician on the cusp of global superstars, working to combine the pressure of success with the ghosts of his past.”

The premise continues: “Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marks a pivotal moment in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works – a primitive, haunted acoustic record, occupied by a lost soul, searches for a reason to believe.”

Joining White actors is Jeremy Strong As Springsteen’s longtime confidant and manager Jon Landau; Paul Walter Hauser plays guitar tech Mike Batlan; Stephen Graham is Springsteen’s father Doug and Odessa Young, who is a love interest, Faye; Gaby Hoffman is Springsteen’s mom, Adele; Marc Maron plays Chuck Plotkin and David Krumholtz Krumholtz, Columbia executive, Al Teller.
