
Controversial South African politicians were denied entry into the UK in terms of race relations in the country.
Julius Malema is considered “unrelevant to the public interest” and allowing him to enter is “unwanted”, the Ministry of the Interior said.
In a letter published by local media News 24, the British government quoted his voice for Hamas, including his speech after the October 7 attack, saying his party would arm the group if his party came to power.
Britain also raised the threat of calling for the “slaughter of white people” and “bearing weapons” was the reason for the rejection.
His Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) party ranked fourth in South Africa’s parliamentary elections last year, denounced the decision as “cowardice” and said it would kill democratic debate.
Donald Trump was outstanding in the video played last month when South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the White House last month.
This is the second time Malema has been denied entry into the UK in just two months.
The British government said for the first time that he submitted his application too late – this time, a British official in South Africa told the BBC that it was a “substantial decision”.
The UK said he has no right to appeal and may be denied any future applications.
