In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Sorenstam recalled playing against Clark at a golf course and said she was a “bigger fan” after meeting with young basketball players.

“It’s great, obviously, I’m a big fan and after meeting her and spending some time, a big fan, great athlete is very focused and knowing when you have a task to do,” she said. “Obviously, she has a little golf background, so she’s familiar with the sport and knows it has culture and has some traditions.

Sorenstam is preparing to compete in the U.S. Century Championship next month at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club. The celebration begins on July 9 and continues until July 13.
