Witnesses and medical staff said tanks and drones opened fire on thousands of people near the central Gaza aid distribution center run by the U.S. and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
A spokesman for the Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat confirmed that 23 bodies and more than 100 people have been injured. Images from the hospital show the body on the floor.
