Exclusive – The House Judiciary Committee asked the President of Brown University to hand over all internal memos related to a student who sent a church-style email that subsequently faced a disciplinary hearing and leaked private information.
“We are concerned that Brown’s decision to file discipline charges against Mr. Shieh and hold a misconduct hearing may help curb freedom of speech and stop others from stepping up and raise questions related to Brown’s rising costs,” the House Judiciary Committee told Brown’s president Christina Paxson.
