On June 18, Cloud re-displayed a video of Mamdani about his reaction to being called anti-Semitism, and the same day Cloud wrote her own post to express her support for her self-proclaimed democratic socialist.
Yun wrote: “Who would have got my vote if I were not a resident of PA (Mamdani).
In an interview with sports blog websitesClutch point,” Yun said, Mandani’s victory in the primary has restored her “human hope”.
“He became the worst PR because he was a Muslim, he was a socialist, he was a Democrat. But he thought the rights to take care of and make sure all of its components live a dignified life, no matter who you are, who you are, what your religion or background is. I think it’s beautiful.”
“I think overall, that’s the right choice. But the reason why it empowers me so is that it restores my hope for humanity. Even within the scope of what is happening in our government and our country right now, people will speak up. People will show up. And, humanity has left a lot of humanity in this world and let us take care of each other.”
Cloud has become one of the most polarizing figures in the WNBA’s comments about President Donald Trump.

In an interview with Ryan Clark’s “Pivot Podcast”, Cloud shocked the WNBA debate last year, when several illegal defeats of Clark drew outrage from many fans.
Yun said she suffered early in her career, insisting that the anger on behalf of Clark was rooted in “racism.”
