Say anything cement itself as a rom-com classic once John Cusack Took his boombox compressed game “in your eyes.”
The 1989 film followed the romance between Lloyd Doblerer (Cusack) and Diane’s court (Iion Syee) in their high school graduation. Lloyd is an average student while Diane is Valedictorian class. While as they were not most of the most, Lloyd – not sure of life after school – decided to keep Diane with most of his father, played John Mahoney.
While Skye and Cusack play the interests of the love of the screen, the actress later revealed that he and he Say anything ABOUT tied years after the premiere. In his 2025 memoir, Tell allSkye wrote that he and Cusack were united after his divorce from the boys’ Adamor Horovitz.
During a March 2025 talk peopleSkye shared that he left Custack to read a draft of his book. He later texted him, “You made a great experience! It’s not ‘meh’ for me.”
“I’m talking, I’m talking a story, and more about how all our chemistry is at our work and stirring thoughts with each other, not sleeping with each other!” Skye told the outlet in time. “I feel a little bad, but, oh well.”
