Actress and co-host of “The View” Whoopi Goldberg announced on Friday’s social media video that she will be on the Italian soap opera “Un Posto al Sole”.
“I just wanted to stop and say I’m happy to join the actors of ‘Un Posto al Sole’.” Said in a viral video Share the Italian coastline behind her on Instagram. “They know it’s a crazy idea, I know it’s a crazy idea, but it’s a great thing. So I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited.”
She added: “I know my Italians aren’t perfect, but we’ve solved it.”
The video was shared on Fremantle Italia’s official Instagram, the production and distribution company behind “Un Posto al Sole”. The soap opera made its debut for decades in 1996.

Internet movie database The show describes “the daily events of the residents of Paladini Palace” as a show that intertwines between love stories and deception and the glorious bay of Naples. ”
The production company provided more details on how she would be on the show, writing: “ #Unpostoalsole’s surprise: (Whoopi Goldberg) joins the cast!
Her character will be part of a special storyline and will appear in multiple episodes in 2026. ”
Goldberg Living in the United States to Iran Last week, she initially became famous as an entertainer and won Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tonys.
