Is there anything better than shopping when you’re in Europe? I don’t think so. VAT refunds, unrivaled choices and low-key drops (in my case, Slam) Your credit card pays for new shoes, bags or clothing does let me go. So when my parents told me that they moved to Spain a few years ago, shopping in Europe became a sport in my book and I won the Olympic gold medal every time.
When I was in Madrid, there was nothing like shopping from a local brand. Yes, I love Flabelus, Paloma Wooland gimaguas Like the next fashion girl, but I’m obsessed with the secret of stopping Zara Every day you need to study every day when visiting your parents.
Given that my parents live in the heart of the city center, Zara Feel infinite. Every time I get out of the car, I usually go home, take a shower, and head straight to Madrid’s flagship Zara Zara, located in the DeEspaña square, which is the big square of Gran Gran Via (a bustling shopping street) in Madrid (there is no doubt there is a bustling shopping street there, no doubt that another Zara I went). That is, Plaza de España Zara took the cake in my book.
In-store experience
Until recently, the 41,064 square feet store was the largest Zara in the world, and it still holds the largest title in Spain. As a Spanish brand, Zara’s DeEspaña Square location is the company’s main business hub in the capital. The store features a large number of fixed rooms, a three-story shopping building and several dedicated areas for new events, beauty products, home supplies, premium ZW collection pieces and a seamless checkout experience. Being the largest Zara in Spain also means the store (almost) everything you find online. As a large-size trendy shopper, I found DeSpaña Plaza to be the only Zara that can reliably find everything I need. In one of the smaller tourist-packed Zara locations in Madrid, no longer track a specific pair of pants or cute tops.
Yes, while DeEspaña Square is located in the heart of one of Madrid’s most tourist areas, its huge size means you won’t keep bumping into people or fighting for installing rooms. That is the victory in my book!
Zara’s house
Plaza de España is located even in a rare location in Madrid, and there is even a Zara home. Since we don’t have a dedicated Zara home store New YorkI usually spend my good time browsing and capturing photos as inspiration for my small shoebox-sized New York apartment.
Installation room experience
Most importantly, though, I shop in Zara like I do at work because honestly, it’s. In the summer, when I was in Spain, I knew I had to go to the IRL and document some of the best I found in the country’s largest Zara. I held my trusty iPhone, a giant bag full of clothes and comfortable shoes, and I spent nearly 45 minutes in the accessories room trying at least 25 different pieces.
Even though I wish I had a lot of things to buy, my suitcase would only hold too much. Below you will find some of the Madrid girls coded Zara pieces I rushed to try to buy – including flowing Midi dresses, linen pants and chic buttery yellow tops.
Flexible stretchy Mitty dress
This is the last second of my reagent room stack and I’m glad I added it. The dress is very light and smooth – it was perfect on those 95-degree days hiking along Madrid. I’m usually an XL, but I’m very big in size and it’s perfect for (if not a little oversized – the best way to do it).
Flowing Midi dress
Can you tell me I have a flowing dress? They are the best way to beat the crazy temperatures that spread to Madrid in June, July and August. If you are looking for something to make a statement, I will convey that statement – it is the definition of the least luxury. Even on your lazy summer day, you can stop thinking of a real throwing outfit. In my book, it’s the peak comfort fashion, and I have nothing to do.
Striped poplin shirt
Call me crazy, but I live for Zara’s tailor. Of course, the Spanish brand is popular among the style crowd because of its popular works and excellent accessories, but in my books, classics can’t beat. I already have some classic button curtain shirts from Zara, so I think this pink striped version will be the winner. Spoiler Alert: That’s great, I’m wearing it when I write this.
Snips and linen pants
Last but not least, this beautiful outfit is the look of a Madrid girl from head to toe. The buttery yellow backless top pairs make the look and pair with these breeze-like white linen pleated pants, a match made in sartearial paradise. If you’re on the tight side, I’d be sized to be a backless, but the pants are a bit loose (but no complaints though!).
