Elon Musk smashed his political silence with a series of foggy attacks aimed directly at the Trump’s legislative center. Just hours before a critical Senate to vote on the president’s “one big bill”, the billionaire general manager of Tesla and Spacex repeated his fierce opposition, escalating a feud with his former boss.
The public break marks a dramatic turn. For months, Musk was a high profile, if unconventional, a member of the administration, heading the much revealed section of government efficiency, cheerfully known as Doge. But even during his final hours in government, the richest man in the world began to vote his disagreement about the bill that the Republican led a congress rushed to pass before the holiday of July 4.
Their alliance between Musk and President Donald Trump, always a transaction marriage of comfort between two larger than living figures, publicly involved on June 5th. The fall began when Trump, speaking to reporters in the oval office, expressed his “disappointment” in Musk’s criticisms, suggesting that the Te Technika Mogul only on the bill after the criticisms of electric vehicles were cut. This caused a real -time mouse traction on X. He accused Trump of lying, claiming that the bill was “never shown to me”, and boasted that “without me, Trump would have lost the choice.” The conflict breathed from there, with Trump threatening Musk and Musk’s lucrative contracts, at one point, pleading Trump’s name appeared in the slanderer Epstein files before removing the post.
Now, that glittering conflict was boiling again. At risk there are extensive legislation that defines the second term priorities of the Trump administration. The bill includes deep cuts to social programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, a new round of mass tax reductions, and significant rise to the nation’s debt ceiling. Literally for Musk, it also offers drastic reductions and new taxes on the clean energy sector, a direct threat to the industries he leads through Tesla and his solar businesses
After criticizing the version of the bill, which passed the representation, Musk now launched a full scale attack on the revised Senate version scheduled for a vote on June 28. He started Amplify post on his social media, X, from a user detailing the aggressive new measures of the bill against the green energy sector.

Musk co-signed the criticism, before adding his own warning about the bill’s broader consequences for the country.
“The newest Senate project bill will destroy millions of jobs in the United States and cause huge strategic damage to our country!”, The billionaire wrote, adding that it is, “completely senseless and destructive.

The question now is as President Trump will react. He took the step of this bill his highest legislative priority, and his administration was constantly working to silence any disagreement votes in the party.
Unsurprisingly, Musk captured another critical position to continue his offensive. When the same user asked who could possibly wish the legislation, which is opposed to motorists, electrical services and developers of data centers, the Te Technic Mogul agreed and took its criticism even more.

Citing ballots he posted in X, which shows overall opposition to the bill’s key advice, Musk still delivered his top political warning.

The voting data Musk referenced, reportedly made by the Tarrance group, republican strategic research and polling station, between June 14 and June 19, seems to validate its position. The results show that 53% of respondents agree with Musk’s characterization of the bill as an “outrageous pig-filled spending bill, which will massively increase the budget deficit and charge US citizens with dissatisfied insoluble debt.” Furthermore, 57% of the respondents coincided with their specific claim that the legislation would “increase the federal deficit by $ 2.4 trillion over the next decade.
