Apple is considering using AI models from OpenAI and Antropic to operate their updated version of Siri, instead of using technology that the company has built at home, according to A Bloomberg report Monday.
The iPhone maker continues to build a project inside called “LLM Siri”, which uses in-house AI models, according to Bloomberg. However, Apple is reportedly asked for Openai and anthropic to train versions of their AI models, which can work on Apple’s cloud infrastructure for testing.
