Musk went even further, promising to find a political party to break the current two party system.

In another post, he revealed what he will call this third national party, writing, “If this nonsense spending bill passes, the American party will develop the next day.” He continued, “Our country needs an alternative to the Democratic Republican UNParty, so that people actually have a voice.”

Basically, Musk believes that neither the Republicans who governing the government nor democratic opposition represent a significant part of Americans. This is not the first time that Musk floated the idea of a third party: “a more moderate party about all things than either representatives or demos would be ideal,” he posted in May 2022, adding that: “This wants most people in the United States, but unfortunately it is not realistic.” But now, after an oticistic attitude in Washington and public interruption with the president, he seems more determined than ever.
For the moment, President Trump ignored him.
