Fenty and Biaoma Just unveiled their latest collaboration to draw inspiration from a whimsical world Smurfs. The series celebrates Rihanna’s The character that is about to become the new Smurf Smurfs The film will be released on July 18 – blending her fashion sensibility with her beloved blue universe. The result is a fun and stylish capsule that brings the nostalgia of animation into the world of streetwear.
The capsule includes six new clothing items – two of which are matching kits – blending streetwear aesthetics with animated nostalgia. The outstanding figure in the collection are knitted sweaters, which include the front and center of Smurfette’s iconic mushroom-shaped house. The sweater is presented in a relaxed silhouette, blending whimsical graphics with a modern streetwear appeal. It pairs with knitted sweatpants on the same mustard yellow bottom and comes with soft pink and blue details for a cohesive and colorful look.
No great sneakers, no Fenty X Puma release is complete Avanti Reimagined with the “slate sky” color scheme. The sneakers have a pink denim upper and have a darker denim cover that extends along the sides and heels. A bold red jaguar logo with white dots – reminiscent of mushrooms – covers on the heel piece, framed by white embroidered stitching. The folding tongue displays the Fenty X Puma logo while the golden Fenty Emblem sits cleverly below. Each pair contains a detachable Silver Smurf Charm – a collectible touch that connects the entire subject together. The sneakers arrive along the custom box behind the mushroom room in Smurfette and come with a smurfette-themed tissue wrap to showcase their Paris escape.
