Cordina’s appearance is unlikely to beat these guys tonight, but at least he wins, and he should be competing for the world title against the Mason-Noakes title. Cordina shouldn’t just win the world title, as he briefly owns the IBF 130 pounds title. The sport shouldn’t work that way. Cordina didn’t stick to the world championship in the super lightweight competition, and the guy he beat to win the strap, Kenichi Ogawa wasn’t special.
