After 22 years of marriage, Chip and Joanna Gaines Always looking for ways to keep the spark alive.
this Magnolia Cyber Starcelebrating their wedding anniversary in May, recently revealed the challenges they often face in a relationship and the “new things” they try to maintain excitement.
“What we realized in 22 years of marriage…we still feel like newbies. Whenever you unlock new things, you do it together, and it only develops your relationship,” Joanna, 47, told people In a new interview.

She continued: “I hired the couple; they came to our office and taught us how to dance.”
“It’s just me and the couple. You talk about embarrassment,” added Chip, 50.

Joanna said the new hobby provided “awakening” for their marriage.

“You see insecurity, you see the advantage, and it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s a new awakening’,” she said.
“[When we started]we didn’t know how to hold our hands. Even the best friend and wife of 22 years old can be hard to communicate with you. I’m really weird, awkward. But after two or three weeks, we started looking forward to these classes.” “It’s a sweet reminder that all of us can use refreshes and challenges in relationships.”
“I think dancing is the most symbolic way a couple talks about, ‘How do you keep your life in sync?’ We are really great in real life, but we’re so surprised.
The couple shared daughters, Emmie, 15, and Ella, 18, and Duke, 7, 16, Drake, 20, and Drake, 20, open in 2023.
