U.S. President Donald Trump announced that countries that “aligned with the anti-U.S. policies of the BRICS countries” will charge an additional 10% tariff without details.
“Any country that is consistent with the anti-U.S. policy of the BRICS countries will be charged with an additional 10% tariff,” Trump said on Sunday evening.
In addition, Trump confirmed that the U.S. will begin sending letters on Monday detailing tariff rates in specific countries and any agreements reached with various trading partners.
