Tiktok develops a new version of its app for US users before expected to sale the app to a group of investors, according to a report of The information.
The company is reportedly planning to launch the new program on September 5, while the existing app will stop working in March of next year. The timeline may change, the report notices.
Tiktok users in the United States will need to download the new application to continue using the social network.
The report comes two days after President Donald Trump said he would do Start talking to China this week about a possible agreement, stating that the government “almost” has an agreement on the sale of the short video app.
Last month, Trump extended Tiktok Ban’s deadline until September 17, marking the third time the deadline was repulsed.
