Edgar Berlanga said his opponent, Hamzah Sheeraz, was “feeded with a silver spoon” by Turki Alalshikh, participated in their fight on July 12. He thinks he is much stronger than him. This Saturday, Berlanga vs. Sheeraz will fight at the main event DAZN PPV. PPV prices are $59.99 in the US and £24.99 in the UK.
Canelo Rematch: Berlanga’s main drawl
Berlanga (23-1, 18 KO) pointed out that he was going to take the silver spoon out of Hamzah’s mouth, beat him, and then use the victory to rematch with Canelo Alvarez.

The judges didn’t help Sheeraz because his results for fans were not considered valid. They see it as an absolute preference. He didn’t play a rematch immediately, making himself worse. If Hamzah asks Turki to play a rematch with Adames, he may approve his request.
SHEERAZ: Talented Victory, Not Popular

Sheeraz’s “Silver Spoon” privilege

If Turki supports Hamzah, then he won’t have been that long. Berlanga didn’t pay much attention to what Turki said on social media. He only competes against Sheeraz or Chris Eubank vs. Conor Benn as a rival to Canelo Alvarez in February next year.
Turki’s Canelo plan does not include Berlanga
Berlanga is not in Turki’s plan to clash with Canelo. Turki hasn’t said what battles he fought for Edgar if he wins, but it’s likely a dangerous man. The last thing he needed was to match Berlanga to the top rankings and Eddie Hearn’s way of feeding him mostly cream puffs and not paying off any rewards due to the non-competitive game.
Turki should insist that Berlanga fights the elite-level super middleweight, or preferably the lightweight heavyweight, as he has to redeem himself in the eyes of fans after losing to Canelo.
“There is no promoter who doesn’t want to sign me. The highest ranking doesn’t want to sign me. The Golden Boy doesn’t want to sign me. The PBC doesn’t want to sign me. No one wants to sign me.”
This explains why the top rankings choose to build his opposition with the totally weak opposition with his first 20 battles. If they don’t want to sign him, they may see flaws, and therefore, a gentle butt for strict tomato jars.
Berlanga left the company to sign with Matchroom, and Top Read once had the chance to compete with competitor-level fighters. Matchroom also did not develop Berlanga, which he played against British domestic fighters Jason Quigley and Padraig McCrory, and then played him against Canelo Alvarez last year. Not surprisingly, Berlanga is not yet ready to fight Canelo, considering his preparation or lack.
