Despite his socialist proposal New York City Mayor candidate Zohran Mamdani has millionaires, supporting his candidacy as he calls on the wealthy to tax the wealthy to fund a wide range of social programs.
James Hueston is a 27-year-old venture capitalist who is part of a millionaire called Mamdani Wall Street Journal Works published on Monday.
“In my opinion, I should definitely pay my fair share for people who need it,” Houston told the newspaper. “I don’t think he’s adding taxes to that. I think he’s doing it to provide a very clear and good policy.”

Voting data shows that about one-third of the city’s wealthiest residents support Mamdani in primary schools, New York Post Report. Many donors from Wall Street and major law firms remain anonymous.
Other senior supporters of Mamdani include Ahmed Haque, founder and CEO of consulting firm Didactic Labs.
“For immigrants coming to this country, these small businesses represent the only way to move upwards that they have,” he said.
Bradley Tusk is a venture capitalist who hosted his third campaign for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

In an Instagram post, Balthazar’s owner Keith McNally is a French restaurant called Mamdani “Great”.
“More importantly, when my wealthy, paranoid friends told me about the dangers of Mamdani,” he wrote.
Kathy Wylde, president of the New York City Partnerships, a major business group, told the Journal that she had taken his candidacy seriously after meeting Mandani in September.
“I don’t support it Government take over Your business. ” Wylde recalls he told her.

She added: “He has admitted that the housing crisis can only be resolved if private supply increases. So he is not only talking about social or social housing solutions.”
