The owner of Texas Mountain Country Park and Restaurant is recounting her flooding experience, killing more than 100 people.
Lorena Guillen, owns Blue Oak RV Park and Howdy’s Bar and Grill In Kerrville She said that by about 2:30 a.m., the rain began to drop, and she “got to check the water level of the river.” She said that it looked “good” at that time. She called the sheriff’s office, which had no information at the time, so she slept – just woken up by the “rescue light” between 3:30 and 4 am.
Gillen told Fox News numbers, “It’s so fast.” “It’s so crazy, I’m going from RV to RV, knocking on the door, and driving everyone out.”
“One of my residents called 911 because they could hear people screaming,” she recalled. “But it was late at night, it was black.”
