Just before the 2pm OT hearing Tuesday, the defense and prosecution reached a consensus on a date previously recommended by the federal judge. The defense initially urged to speed up sentencing because Combs’ bail package was denied and even filed on September 22 as a potential date in their first letter to the court.

However, Justice Subramanian finally approved the October 3 date.

The parties also submitted a new date to file a report on prejudice and a post-trial motion. Any post-trial motion by the defense must be submitted by July 30. The government will have to respond by August 20. DIDDY’s pre-verdict investigation report will be submitted on or before August 29 and will be released on September 18.

In a post-verdict press conference, his lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo boasted that the team would not stop until Diddy was a free agent.

“We are not finished with the fight yet. We are just starting out,” Agnifilo said Wednesday outside the court. “It takes a hard work to win this victory and defeat the prosecutors in the southern part of New York from beginning to end. Today is an important step in the right direction. But we keep fighting and we will win, and we won until he walks out of a freeman in prison, we will stop.”
