Tonight, the Princess of Wales issued a statement in a crimson Givenchy Sarah Burton Gown on Sarah Burton’s gown to honor French President Emmanuel Macron at a state banquet held at Windsor Castle. Flowing silk creponne gathers on evening gowns with a cloak back detail.
The princess paired it with a clutch for one night, a lily embroidered with a valley pattern Lover’s knot headdress. Made in 1913 by Garrard’s house, the crown consists of diamonds and a set of 19 hanging pearls made of silver and gold. The lover’s knot is also the favorite of the late Princess Diana.

Sarah Burton, chosen by the Princess of Wales, chose a clear statement of fashion diplomacy for Sarah Burton: the design of British women for French fashion houses, which is a tailor symbol of the symbiotic relationship between two European countries.
