Durant added that when he was on the same page as Nash, there were other factors that led to the atmosphere of dysfunction.
“I feel like we’re locked on the same page and understand, well, we’re trying to do something special here,” Durant said. “But I think your hands are tied a lot because you have to – as a coach, you have to deal with a lot.”
Nash acknowledged Durant’s view: “I didn’t coach as much as I wanted.”
Durant suggests he was robbed of the best version of Nash coach.
