this Department of Homeland Security (Domestic Homeland Security) announced Tuesday that a federal official burned the former U.S. flag at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon on July 4.
“On Independence Day, violent thugs target ICE facilities South Portland area,” the Department of Homeland Security wrote in a statement to Fox News. “They attacked law enforcement, destroyed federal property and burned the U.S. flag. ”
Officials said the thug cut internet cables to federal facilities, broke the sprinkler system and threw stones and fireworks at law enforcement officers.

During the violence, the mob burned the American flag.
Officials said an ice officer later raised a new flag on patriotism.
“This is the type of America’s firm patriotism and love that our law enforcement officers showcase in their daily work and day after day,” the statement said.

He added that when other searches occur, the agents will find that other illegal immigrants are “not targets of crime, but they are illegal” and that “we will arrest them too.”
