Napheesa Collier team ruled the team Caitlin Clark From start to finish, on Saturday night, the Minnesota Lynx star’s record night, won a 151-131 victory in the WNBA All-Star.
Collier scored 36 points in the game. She broke the Dallas Wings scored by Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale in the 2024 game.
Collier has been selected for the All-Star Game five times, averaging 23.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as she helped Lynx return to the WNBA No. 1 with a 20-4 record.

She was named the WNBA All-Star MVP.
Collier’s Seattle Storm star Skylar Diggins set a record for most assists in the All-Star Game and became the first player to record a triple-double in the game. She scored 11 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists
Indiana Hot Star Kelsey Mitchell leads Clark with 20 points.
However, the game’s discussion is about information about players’ wage increases in stressful collective bargaining agreements (CBA) negotiations during breaks.
During the warm-up game before the game started, each WNBA All-Star wore a shirt that read “Pay Us What You Owe Us.” During the rewards demo, fans were heard shouting “pay”.

“I’m just inspired by the number of players that show up, the engagement level,” she said. “That’s really all. Because the more things happen, the more we’ll be able to get the job done. I think today we’ll be able to use this conversation to start rolling the ball onto things.”

Despite the controversy, WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said Saturday night that she is optimistic.
“I’m still very optimistic, we’ll do something that will change,” she said. “And, next year at the All-Star Game, we’re going to talk about the greatness of everything. Obviously, there’s a lot of hard work to do on both sides.”
The players met with league officials on Thursday and the two teams did not reach an agreement. Chicago Sky Star Angel Reese is one of many WNBA players who are critical of the league’s handling of negotiations.
“It’s an eye-opener for me,” she said Friday.
“It’s important to be able to speak out. If I sit down, it seems I don’t care.”
