MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace asks Swalwell Podcast episodes On Friday, Joe Rogan did it with Rep. James Talarico, a Democratic Texas State, where he told him that her mother told him she was a Democrat because they “fight for the people.”
Talarico acknowledged Democrats in Rogan’s interview From that positionsaid: “I don’t know how true our party is still about this, but I do know that it’s our historical legacy, a party that fights for the little guys. I think today we are at our best when we do that. When we deviate from that, we are at our worst.”

Wallace asked Swalwell what he thought about the exchange between Rogan and Talarico, which Swallwell said was “very moving.”
Svalwell continued to slam the Republicans.
“I see myself as a Democrat because Republicans fight for the rich and Democrats,” Svalwell said. “But the bigger point here, you ask before we go to the ad, how do we do things about why they should have Epstein archives, convention illustrations to attract more voters, and he will go into more space and places.”

“I made the decision after the last election, when I saw 68% of voters identified as Christians in one way or another, and I needed to do Christian podcasts,” Svalwell said. “And I do about one or two a month. I grew up as a Christian. I went to a Christian university with a football scholarship, but I don’t talk about my faith because I don’t think it’s political. But what I’m seeing is that Republicans are weaponizing faith when actually our own drawbacks aren’t good at talking about it.”
In the same interview with Rogan and Talarico, Swalwell praised Talarico for blasting “religious rights” and said he thought it was OK if it didn’t matter if it didn’t matter. Christians are abortion.
Taralarico said: “Whether it is a telecommunicationist or a politician, I feel suspicious.
“For me, I think it should be about the agenda here, the agenda of what someone is trying to encounter,” he added. “And, I think if we were looking at the past 40, 50 years, religious rights have worked to make homosexuality and abortion the two biggest issues for Christians. And, you know, the Southern Baptist Convention was always affectionate until the late 1970s. So the idea is a Christian idea that you have to be the basis of anti-gay and anti-abortion, and in fact, it is indeed biblical, the Bible, which is a learning, ”’
