The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals refused on Friday Trump administration Requirements for emergency bans that require federal immigration agents to target immigrants in Southern California by traits such as race or language.
The three panel of judges issued a unanimous ruling to maintain restrictions on federal agents during immigration raids in the Los Angeles area.
Restrictions include prohibiting targeting people based on their race, accent, language, or location, including at Home Depot or car washes.
The ruling requires federal agents to have more specific possible reasons for arrest, rather than general suspicion of a person’s citizenship.

“A temporary restraining orders to use racial profiles and other illegal strategies to protect our communities from immigration will remain in place during cruel and aggressive law enforcement raids and sweeps,” Bass said in a statement.
