A fire broke out below one New Jersey Monday morning, the route trains and passengers were sent to escape from the smoke-filled car.
The fire began at 6:19 am Port Authority New York and New Jersey said.
Officials said the train filled with smoke was evacuated to the platform.
Authorities say several people were treated for inhaling smoke.
