Jaron ‘boot’ Ennis’ disappointing opponent list, namely October adjustment: analysis by Rashidi Ellis, Charles Conwell and Andreas Katzourakis

The Jaron’Boots’Ennis team has issued offers to four fighters to participate in the October adjustment battle. Most names are disappointing. Initiator Eddie Hearn has revealed that Josh Kelly is their proposal. But, Kelly said it was a low ball offer.

Unnecessary adjustments to boots battles

Fans don’t understand why Ennis (34-0, 30 KOS) needs adjustment due to career hype. He should be able to jump into the 154 pounds division immediately and start fighting the top characters. That’s what Terence Crawford did last year when he matured at Israil Madrimov’s 36-year-old. It almost killed him, but he still did.

Jaron Ennis opponent list

  • Rashidi Ellis: Ellis (27-1, 18 kos) is still fighting in middleweight since losing to Roman Villa in 2023, winning his last fight. This draft pick doesn’t make sense to the boots because he’s not the middleweight in junior high school. It violates the purpose of using him as a conditioning purpose to adapt himself to the 154 pound partition unless it is indeed a relaxing payday to get.
  • Charles Cornwell: Of these four, Cornwell (27-1, 16 KO) is arguably the most talented group, but he also lost to Jorge Garcia. Fighting with someone who just got lost, Ennis’ character looks terrible. Again, this may not be about Ennis wetting his feet in the 154-pound partition.
  • Josh Kelly: We already know that this battle has not happened. Kelly and his team made and rejected the offer. Hearn noted that Kelly had some money from Riyadh season and he was doubtful about the chances of the fight that took place in Ennis. Anyway, this will be a weak choice.
  • Andreas Katzourakis: Katzourakis remained unbeaten with a 16-0 record, recently defeating Brandon Adames. If the purpose is to prepare for it compared to the Little Vergil Ortiz Jr, he is not a good choice.

Why does Ennis need to adjust?

The problem with Ennis’ adjustment is that his entire career was nothing more than a warm-up battle with smaller warriors, without him stepping up to strike the better opposition at once.
