Former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke said Democrats must be willing to “fight against fire” when seeking to reapprove Republicans in the Congressional District.

“This re-division, this is the shorthand for members of Congress to choose their own voters,” O’Rourke said on the Joy Reid show. podcast on Monday.

“Unless we stop, that’s going to make things worse,” O’Rourke continued. “So my hope is – I’ve heard that from everyone everywhere – Democrats fight back against everything they have. Fight against fire. So if that means Texas State House Democrats need to leave the country to deny that their Republican colleagues are quorum, that’s it.”
