Exclusive: R-Calif’s Rep. Young Kim responded to comments from Democratic challengers that she called her “ESL Puppet” in a post criticizing the Trump administration’s immigration policy.
“My story is not unique. It’s the story of many Korean Americans and immigrants nationwide who are proud of Americans and who make our communities better every day. I am proud of my accent and will continue to use my voice to protect America’s dreams and America’s dreams for future generations.”
“It’s a new low for kids who immigrated South Korea, moving to a two-hour area, targeting parrot race bait, anti-immigrant slander, and targeting North Korean Americans. Young is the most effective federal lawmaker from California and continues to prove she’s an independent fighter for the community,”Callie Strock, “Callie Strock, campaign spokesperson” added Kim.
Democrat Esther Kim Varet’s post included Wednesday night National Republican Campaign Committee X’s post says that Kim Varet is “radical”, “anti-ice” and “promoting marginal conspiracy theories.”
It also includes screenshots of various news articles about deportation and other disasters.

“Remember when your own racist magazine party couldn’t tell you that you were older, except me (Rep. Kim)?” Kim Varet wrote. “You are an immigrant who longs for South Korea and sells your conscience to the devil at the cost of all hard-working immigrants. You don’t work hard, you and your husband are the greatest greeds representing the swamp – rotting and terrible from the decay of your soul.
“You didn’t even realize that our shared Korean-American community has the highest number of undocumented immigrants among Asians?” she added. “You won’t even speak English well enough to hold a cohesive argument. You’re uppet. Too awkward. Judas on the real life of our community. You’re sick of me (Rep. King).”
The posts quickly caught the attention of the NRCC as it focused on competitive House competitions.

“Esther Kim Varet, a Democrat with no stimulus, is a hated paranoid who embodies the worst paranoia in today’s political discourse. Californians will reject this evil extremist who has no business representing them in Congress,” NRCC spokesman Christian Martinez said in a statement Thursday.
In response to NRCC comments, Varet told Fox News Digital, “It seems that national Republicans can’t tell Asians the course.”
