Tim Bradley is choosing Shakur Stevenson to defeat Teofimo Lopez in the battle in early 2026. Teofimo (22-1, 13 KOS) agreed to fight Stevenson next January, but if he is serious, it remains to be seen if the battle can be negotiated.
Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOS) has been desperately summoning Lopez since defeating William Zepeda on July 12. At 135, he faces Andy Cruz, Jadier Herrera, Raymond Muratalla and Abdullah Mason, and for him, nothing is there. So he focused on flushing some games at 140, aiming for payday.

Shakur will have to put socks on as Teofimo disagrees with anything unless Turki Alalshikh offers the right price to make him want to sign the fight. He won’t be in this game just because he wants to fight. For Lopez, it must make sense.
On May 2, it needs to be better than his last fight with Arnold Barboza. That’s $10 million, so you can imagine Teofimo wanting to fight with Jerry runners like Stevenson.
